Kettmeir presents its restyling of “Linea Classici” of Alto Adige D.O.C.

A new image for the “Linea Classici” to highlight the perfect harmony with its area of origin.

Kettmeir presenta il restyling della Linea Classici Alto Adige DOC

A new image, then, for a selection of wines whose roots go back to over a century ago, inspired by the terroir and the ecosystem that surround the winery: it seeks to give the Kettmeir brand its rightful place among the Alto Adige’s top-quality producers and highlight the consistency and commitment with which the company has dedicated itself to safeguarding the Alto Adige’s age-old tradition of wine production.

The new labels place at the center of attention the brand and the flight of the osprey, which determinedly crosses the graphical space with a vigorous, precise beat of its wings. Each individual wine is distinguished by a single wingbeat highlighted in blue: when placed alongside one another, the labels thus create the impression of continuous movement.

The choice of this rare animal species immediately recalls the attention that Kettmeir has always paid to the subject of environmental sustainability and that is expresses in best practices such as its respect for the 2030 Agenda of the Consorzio Vini Alto Adige, its protection of biodiversity and of pollinating insects, its sparing use of water for irrigation, and its reduction of CO2 emissions thanks to the use of a geothermal plant in the production areas. This real green philosophy has necessitated a significant investment plan in recent years.

The “Linea Classici” - made up of six white wines (Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Müller Thurgau, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon) and three reds (Lago di Caldaro Classico, Lagrein and Pinot Nero), all with the “Alto Adige” D.O.C. - represents the heart of Kettmeir’s production: indigenous and international grape varieties that have found an ideal environment in the Alto Adige for maintaining and expressing to the full - in terms of potency and purity - their distinctive individual characteristics.
